Sir Tom Finney Sports Centre Reopens from Monday 14 September
We’re looking forward to welcoming you back to Sir Tom Finney Sports Centre from Monday 14th September.
Your patience and understanding is appreciated as we have changed our usual operations to ensure you can enjoy a safe experience.
We have a range of measures in place to help keep you safe including:
- Keep left systems in all buildings
- Hand sanitising stations
- Face coverings must be worn inside of the building, except when you are in the activity areas: e.g. the fitness suite, sports halls and studios
- Shower facilities and changing rooms are only available for people with disabilities or additional needs
- Personal items can be placed in the lockers only whilst you are using the facilities
Bookings
All activities must be booked in advance using the . Bookable activities include:
- 50-minute Fitness Suite sessions
- Other activities will be added in the future

Sir Tom Finney Sports Centre (STFSC) is UCLan’s multi-million pound, state-of-the-art, purpose built indoor facility on the main University Campus. The outstanding facilities were recognised ahead of the London 2012 Olympics when UCLan was an official Olympic training camp. STFSC offers a range of activities from UCLan Students' Union sports clubs to instructor led classes and individual areas.
