As I sit in self isolation being in a ‘category’ but not serious enough to justify an NHS letter and trying to avoid climbing the walls after seeing the Meerkats advert on TV for the 500th time my thoughts turned to Dying Matters Week 2020. .

Dự đoán xổ số miền namEvery anaesthetist and intensive care doctor will have wondered if they did the right thing by taking someone to the intensive care unit. It is often the "easier" thing to do when faced with someone critically ill who is not in a condition to make an informed decision. .

Dự đoán xổ số miền namI’ve so many questions about dying and death and no where to take them except listen to them go round and round in my head! The one thing I can be certain about in my life is that I’m going to die, that my life is finite and not going on for ever. To be honest there’s nothing I would like least!!

‘Me, Earl and the Dying Girl’
Film showing by Comensus

High schooler Greg, who spends most of his time making parodies of classic movies with his co-worker Earl, finds his outlook forever altered after befriending a classmate who has just been diagnosed with cancer.

A myth busting workshop on the ups and downs of making a will

Thursday 16th May

A collaborative session exploring the complex ethical and legal aspects of dying, based on recent events exposed in the media. Consider how you can influence decisions made about your future in the event of serious illness.

Friday 17th May

What is our digital legacy and how do we manage it in life and in death?
